The 14U Steelers hockey team won the Western New York Amateur Hockey League Championship by defeating the Batavia Ramparts this past weekend, 5-2. Scoring for the Steelers were Alex Paluch with two goals, Tate Olson with one goal, Kam Sakpal with one goal and Joe Yeager with one goal. Yeager also added two assists while Caleb Gornikiewicz and Simon Davis added one assist each. The Steelers were coach by Steve Olson, Mike Mead, Ed Paluch and Keith Mages.
