One person taken to hospital after vehicle lands in ditch

SHERIDAN — One person received minor injuries after the vehicle they were riding in went into a ditch Wednesday evening.

According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Keith Zook, 55, of Cherry Creek was traveling east on Stone Quarry Road in the town of Sheridan around 7 p.m. After he traveled through the intersection of Miller Road his vehicle went into a ditch. Passenger Julie Zook, 51, of Cherry Creek, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Keith Zook was issued tickets for driving with a suspended license and no insurance.
