Man in Portland revived by Narcan
An unresponsive male was revived by Narcan earlier today.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, at around 2:45 a.m. deputies responded to a residence in Portland, for an unresponsive male. Prior to Emergency Medical Services’ arrival deputies administered Narcan, which is used in overdoses from opioids. The male became responsive and was transported by Portland Fire Department to Westfield Memorial Hospital where he was further treated. Neither the man’s name nor the street address were released.
