Teen charged in south county stabbing

KIANTONE — A teenager has been arrested following a stabbing early New Year’s Day.

According to State Police, the Bureau of Criminal Investigations arrested Justice W. McBride, 17 of Jamestown, for first-degree assault, second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Around 3 a.m. Mobday troopers responded to a report of two people stabbed on Peck Settlement Road in the town of Kiantone. Further investigation revealed that an altercation occurred in the residence between McBride and two other subjects which resulted in the two victims being transported to WCA Hospital in Jamestown of their stab wounds. One victim was treated and released and the second victim was transferred to Hamot Medical Center and is currently listed in stable condition.

McBride was arrested and arraigned in the town of Kiantone Court and was sent to the Chautauqua County Jail.

The State Police were assisted by the Jamestown Police Department with this investigation.

This is still an ongoing criminal investigation.
