Mr. and Mrs. Daniel McCarthy

Reannon Cecelia Lauber and Daniel Todd McCarthy of Fredonia were united in marriage on Aug. 13, 2016 at the Dunkirk Lighthouse. The couple chose a Disney theme for their double ring ceremony and reception. The ceremony was officiated by Amy Scroggs.

The bride is the daughter of Daryle and Debby Lauber of Sheridan. The groom is the son of Kevin and Debbie McCarthy of Sheridan.

The maid of honor was Rebecca Lauber, sister of the bride; and the bridesmaids were Brittany Dunn, friend of the bride, and Jessica Lauber, sister-in-law of the bride. The best man was Jimmy McCarthy, brother of the groom, and the groomsman was Mike McCarthy, brother of the groom. The flower girl was Kyree McCarthy and the ring bearer was Ryan McCarthy, children of the couple.

The bride was escorted by her father. She carried a bouquet of her great-grandmother’s flowers.

The reception was held at the Lighthouse as well.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Franklin High School in Franklin, Virginia and a 2011 graduate from Jamestown Community College with an associate’s degree in criminal justice. She is employed by Chautauqua Opportunities as a teacher’s aide.

The groom is a 2007 graduate of Dunkirk High School, a 2009 graduate of Jamestown Community College with an associate’s in fine arts music, and a 2013 graduate of Fredonia State with a bachelor’s in American history. He is currently enrolled in the TESOL program at Fredonia State and is employed by Dick Golden TV in Dunkirk.

The couple vacationed in Walt Disney World with their children.
