Ronald and Geraldine Waite

Ronald and Geraldine Waite

It’s been 60 years (June 5, 1957) since Ronald and Geraldine Waite stood upon the altar at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Cassadaga, listening to the Rev. Robert Versen commit them to each other. Through faith, love, and a little bit of crazy, they miraculously survived raising five boys; Jeffrey (Marc) of Fort Worth, Texas; Timothy (Dora) of Warner Robins, Georgia; Rodney (Lisa) of Cassadaga; Barry (Barbara) of Montgomery, Alabama; and Daryl of Cassadaga. They have 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends living throughout Western New York and across the U.S.

Retirement? Not in their vocabulary. Ronald worked for the Jamestown Post Journal and the Marlin Rockwell Corporation for many years, is an avid photographer since his teenage years and operates Waite’s Bicycle Shop and is a certified locksmith. Geraldine sews custom clothing for 18-inch dolls, custom nautical flags, and produces professional results when presented with any sewing challenge.

A family day of festivities will take place in July to celebrate family, love and commitment.
