Sheridan Historical Society Open House, 9 a.m. to noon, 2702 Route 20 at Center Road, Sheridan. At 10 a.m., Trustee Traci Langworthy will present talk on Rev. John Spencer, Revolutionary War veteran, ordained minister, missionary who came to Sheridan in 1807. Door prize for one lucky talk attendee.

Forestville Memorial Day parade and service, parade begins at 10 a.m. in downtown Forestville, followed by service at American Legion Post 953, 6 Cedar St. Honors all veterans and members of the military. 21 gun salute. Doug Allen, singer for Buffalo Sabres performs patriotic songs. Forestville Food pantry provides refreshments following service.
