Dunkirk Farmers Market Healthy Community Day, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., outside the Dunkirk Senior Center on Ruggles Street. Rain or shine. Vendors may include farmers offering locally raised produce, meat, eggs and dairy; bakers; value added product producers; artisans; beekeepers and maple syrup producers; prepared food vendors; nurseries; and more. 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony, noon, in front of the Chautauqua County Courthouse, 1 N. Erie St., Mayville. Honors and remember the over 3,000 Americans who were killed on Sept. 11, 2001 when members of the Islamic extremist group al-Qaeda hijacked four planes and crashed them in the World Trade Center in New York City, the pentagon just outside of Washington, D.C., and a field in Western Pennsylvania. Short program open to the public. Features a few words from local dignitaries. Sponsored by local American Legion and the Chautauqua County Veterans Council.

Dunkirk-Fredonia Film Premiere “Widow’s Point,” 7:30 p.m., Fredonia Opera House. Story of a down-on-his-luck author (Craig Sheffer) who spends a weekend locked in a haunted lighthouse as a publicity stunt for a book he is writing about the murders, suicides and disappearances which have occurred at the mysterious location. As he uncovers the lighthouse’s terrifying secrets, sinister forces drive him to the brink of madness. Roughly one-third of the movie was filmed at the Dunkirk Lighthouse in 2018. Filmmaker Gregory Lamberson will introduce the film and lead a panel talk-back following its screening. Panelists will include Lamberson, film co-star Kaelin Lamberson, score composer Armand Petri and the Dunkirk Lighthouse’s Dave Briska. $10 adults, $7 seniors/students. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Dunkirk Lighthouse.
