Quilters plan Saturday session

WESTFIELD — Happy New Year to all! The January Westfield Quilters’ Guild meeting will be an Open Sew on from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday to work on Comfort Quilts for our 2021 donations.

Join us at the YWCA in Westfield, or, if you’re unable to stay to sew, feel free to stop by to pick up kits, tops, etc. to work on at home. Last year’s donations were a great success, and with your help, we can have a great 2021. We look forward to seeing you there.

Sheridan VFW Auxiliary cancels meeting

SHERIDAN — Due to ongoing concerns over the COVID-19 virus, the regular monthly meeting of the Sheridan VFW 6390 Auxiliary, which would be scheduled for Monday, has been be cancelled in the interest of caution.
