The Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation is accepting “Letters of Interest” from local nonprofits for the fall Community Benefit Grants program until Sept. 1 at 4 p.m.

Letters of interest should include a brief project description, the estimated number of people impacted by the project and the amount of funding requested. Include contact information, a mailing address, and a phone number.

Letters are not to exceed two pages. Electronic submission via email to edunn@nccfoundation.org is strongly encouraged.

Following the Sept. 1 deadline, the grants committee will review the letters of interest. Nonprofits whose projects are selected by the committee will be asked to submit a full application. Applicants must be IRS designated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.

Twice a year (March and September) the NCCF considers grant proposals from nonprofit organizations that serve the community. The spring grants program awarded 21 grants totaling $75,934. Grant awards are made possible due to the many generous donors who have established Community Benefit Funds at the NCCF.
