SHERIDAN – An eight-ball pool tournament benefit for “Fast” Eddie Rosas Sr. was held at the Sheridan Memorial VFW Post 6390 on Aug. 13 and 14.

The benefit was filled with pool shooters, Spanish food, theme baskets, TV giveaway, pool cue giveaway and more and was as a huge success for the family.

Raymond Rosas orchestrated this fundraiser with some very dedicated volunteers who spent tireless hours to make it all happen for a good cause.

The winner of the pool tournament was Eddie Rosas Jr. who came back from the loser’s round to win over Kevin Chapin, a competitive pool player.

The Sheridan Memorial VFW Post 6390 has been invited to be the venue for future annual pool tournaments and Post members are looking forward to hosting the event next year.

The VFW’s staff and benefit volunteers teamed well to make for a successful event. Post members wished Eddie Rosas Sr. good luck with his health issues.
