The Ladies Auxiliary of the John T. Murray Post 1017 will be hosting a spaghetti dinner at 111-113 Deer St. in Dunkirk on Wednesday, Aug. 17 from 5 to 7 p.m. Take outs will be available. Dinner consists of salad, spaghetti and meatballs and dessert. The requested donations are veterans: $4.50, others: $8.50. Those who bring a personal care item or a non-perishable food item will get 50 cents off their meal. All items are being donated to the local VA clinic for the homeless veterans. The Auxiliary is also looking for yarn to crochet lap robes for veterans.
