Write Now Writers Group to hold Book Launch Party and Author Event Saturday

BROCTON — Write Now Writers Group’s mission is to foster ambition, talent, and pursuit of the art of writing.

In this effort, they have published an anthology, “HERE, In This Time or Place.” Six contributing authors share stories, some fiction, non-fiction, poems, and more. All Write Now members are currently residents of Northern Chautauqua County’s grape belt region, and wish to promote literacy within the area, and far beyond.

Just in time for the holidays, they invite the public to a Book Launch Party and Author Event Saturday, Nov. 26, from 1 to 4 p.m. The St. Stephen Hotel, located at 2 Main St. in Brocton at The Arches, supports their community, literacy, and the Write Now Writers Group, and will be hosting the event.

Nine additional local authors will be offering the opportunity to answer questions and introduce their books as well, including: Jessie Andersen, Kim Rambacher, Patricia Phil, George Clever, Loren Mayshark, Melinda Zook, Bob Terreberry, Deb Madar, and Michelle Flick. Genres range from motivational to children’s, murder fiction to robots. Just in time for the holiday local shopping. Come take a chance with a raffle basket each of the HERE authors contributed to as well.

On behalf of Write Now members Judy Shuler, Michele Meleen, Betsy Furman, Jenean Roth, Dave Holzwasser, and Donald Dowling, the public is invited as guests at this exciting local author event. The authors would like to graciously thank their sponsors, Westfield-Mayville Rotary, Wegmans, and St. Stephen Hotel. One-hundred percent of the proceeds from the event and sales of the books will be donated to Ahira Hall Memorial Library.

Call Jenean at 792-9418 for more information. Visit, like, and share the page on Facebook at Here In This Time or Place: Book.
