Club Association sets installation banquet

The Northern Chautauqua County Club Association recently held its regular monthly meeting at the Dunkirk Moose Lodge 89, Lake Shore Drive W., in Dunkirk. Ray Lewandowski of the Moose gave the welcoming speech.

The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by a moment of silence for deceased club members. Roll call of officers and clubs was taken by secretary Jim Pryll. All clubs were present.

President Joe Rozen reminded the clubs to be sure and renew any licenses due by the end of the year.

Officers elected for 2017 were; Joe Rozen, president, Pat Begier, vice president, Tom Halicki, treasurer, Jim Pryll, secretary, and trustees Fran Lus, Ray Lewandowski, and Shane Boyle.

The annual installation banquet will take place on Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Silver Creek Overseas Veterans, 13 N. Main St. in Silver Creek. Clubs and guests may expect their invitation letters shortly.

The meeting was adjourned with holiday greetings.
