Honor Society members help out at Christmas

Submitted Photo Members of the Chautauqua Lake Central School National Honor Society made the holidays brighter for 31 children in 21 families in the Chautauqua Lake and Ripley School Districts. Through the organization’s annual food drive and Community Christmas Project, they collected donations from students and staff throughout the school and from the larger community. NHS members wrapped gifts of clothing, toys and games for the children and assembled a carton of non-perishable food, personal hygiene items and new winter clothing for each family. Shown packing cartons of food (left to right) junior Stener Homme and seniors Joel Vinciguerra, NHS president; Brittany Fardink; and Joseph Parker, vice president. NHS advisors are teachers Craig Hindman and Daniel Morton.
