The League of Women Voters will hold a brown bag lunch at noon at the Alumni House at the State University of New York at Fredonia, 286 Central Ave., on Jan. 10. Coffee, tea and dessert will be provided.

The topic for the luncheon will be “The Central Connection, Dunkirk and Fredonia,” presented by President Virginia Horvath.

This endeavor is a vision to connect and strengthen the communities of Dunkirk and Fredonia and to raise awareness of the unique assets that both communities have to offer. Many aspects of this project will be discussed: business, recreation, preservation of historic areas and the waterfront. The mayors of Dunkirk and Fredonia have agreed to attend.
