Murray Post 1017 Auxiliary recently went to the Dunkirk VA Clinic and dropped off hand-made lap afghans, hat mitten and scarf sets, scarves, warm hats, gloves, sweat pants and sweat shirts, T-shirts, socks, personal care items and some non-perishable food for homeless and in-need veterans. Pictured are Pat Rabb, president; Robin Richmond and Marylou Dietman, auxiliary members; and Kathy Hutchinson, medical social worker at the VA clinic. They also donated items to the Buffalo VA on a recent visit with the Silver Creek Post. Afghans were given to the residents and the maternity ward. Making the afghans and hand-made items were Richmond and a friend, Wendy Ferguson.
