Grape Belt Seniors cancel trips

Grape Belt Senior Trips recently canceled include: Aug. 30, Yankees in Cleveland; Sept. 28, Corning; Oct. 14, Erie “Senior Moments”; Dec. 15, Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Planning Board meeting focuses on Eagle St. property

The village of Fredonia Planning Board will meet on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.. This will be an open meeting welcoming public comment and questions pertaining to a proposed project at 103 Eagle St. that will renovate a church into 12 apartments.

The meeting will take place on the second floor of village hall.

Dunkirk legion reopening Wednesday

Dunkirk Memorial American Legion Post 62, 211 Central Avenue, will be reopening on Wednesday for members and eligible guests.

Due to the pandemic, the temporary hours are 4 to 9 p.m. from Wednesday through Sunday; closed Monday and Tuesday. Social distancing and wearing masks required by CDC guidelines will be followed.

St. Mary’s Episcopal Church resumes in-person worship

St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Gowanda has resumed worship services at 10 a.m. on Sundays.

The Church is located at 75 Center St.,Gowanda, All are welcome. Masks are required. Cleaning protocols are followed after each service.
