Lewis seeking Portland supervisor post
PORTLAND — Richard Lewis is running for town of Portland supervisor and is endorsed by the Republican and Conservative Parties.
“I was born and raised in Chazy, a small community in Northeast New York,” he said. “I attended Chazy Central Rural School and graduated in 1987. After four years in the Army, I moved back to Chazy and started working as a service technician for Agway Energy Products. I moved to Western NY in 2002. I worked at Casale Plumbing, Heating & A/C as a service technician and BECC Electric as warehouse manager. My wife Brenda (Adzimo) Lewis and I lived in Portland until we moved to our Brocton home. In 2015 I began working for the Village of Brocton at the Water Pollution Control Facility, in 2018 I became chief operator.
“Currently I serve as chairman for the Brocton-Portland Republican party. I am the secretary/treasurer for Chautauqua Region Professional Wastewater Operators Association. I am a member of Lakewood and South Shore Rod & Gun Clubs and the Northern Chautauqua Conservation Club.
“I would enjoy the opportunity to serve the community and appreciate your vote for town of Portland Supervisor,” he said.
