CIAO plans Christmas party on Saturday

On Saturday, at noon, at the new Italian restaurant, Chadwick Italian Kitchen, Chautauqua Italian American Organization (CIAO), will be hosting their annual Christmas Party.

This is an annual event where Christmas Stockings are filled with special treats, provided by members, and donated to Willow Mission to include in their Christmas food baskets. CIAO has filled stockings for the last seven years providing children and families with a little more than the basics for their Christmas celebration.

Members are requested to bring snacks, such as candy (large bags), individual portion potato chips, pretzels, candy canes, anything that would fill a stocking. If you cannot attend the party, but would like to donate candy, please contact either Lynda Mosher at 934-7116 or Nance Ortolano 673-9177 and arrangements can either be made to drop off candy at a designated spot or have your candy picked up at your house.

Reservations are required so we may have ample seating. You may order off the menu, so if you want a light lunch or a meal, you can make your own choice.

Reservations need to be made by Thursday so supplies can be purchased. Remember, you don’t have to be Italian to join or attend any of our activities! Hope to see all of you there. It is always a great time!

Other pending activities will be discussed, Sip and Paint in January and a cooking class! Create a whimsical Italian theme decoration for your house or give as a gift.

A well-known former Buffalo chef will teach you the art of pasta making and all will participate in the creating of the meal to be shared!
