Gypsy and Buffy are littermates that are about six years old and were surrendered together. Gypsy is a calico and Buffy is a dilute calico, which means that her colors are not quite as dark as Gypsy’s.

They both have sizeable white “collars” and patterned faces, and Buffy has an adorable white tip on her tail.Gypsy and Buffyare both very sweet gentle, and unassuming. They are friendly and love attention but are not “pushy.”As with all our cats up for adoption, they have been blood tested, treated for worms and flea prevention, spayed, and are up to date on all vaccinations.

They come with a ten-day health guarantee. Although they both get along with other cats, they have formed a special bond and are often seen snuggling together. There is a special adoption rate available if you are able to adopt both at th same time. It would be wonderful if they could share a home together again. If your home could use some loving cats, stop in to visit these quiet, gentle ladies any Saturday 12-3 P.M. or Wednesday, 6-8 P.M. at 431 East Chestnut Street in Dunkirk. If you can’t make either of these times, you can request a special appointment through our Facebook page, (Lakeshore Humane Society, Inc.) or through our website: http://www.lakeshorehumanesociety.org. If you prefer, you can call (716)672-991 and fill out a paper application when you visit. Your felines of choice can be held for you while your application is processed.

Look at this adorable boy! Meet Duke, he’s a shepherd mix that is approximately 5 months old. Duke is a typical puppy – friendly, playful and full of energy! Duke will need work on basic commands and housebreaking. His new owner should have the time, energy and patience to train a young dog. Duke would love a large yard to run in and an active family to exercise with.

“Gypsy” and “Buffy”

Because of his exuberance, older children would be best. If you would be able to give Duke the life he deserves, please fill out our online application or stop in during open hours. Wednesday 6 to 8 p.m. or Saturday noon to 3 p.m. No renters please due to landlord restrictions.
