Reg Lenna Center for the Arts announces summer movies

JAMESTOWN – More movies have been added to the summer series at the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts.

First up is the romantic comedy, “Le Week-end,” from the director of “Notting Hill” and “Hyde Park On The Hudson.” A married English couple travel to Paris to celebrate 30 years together. Their plans go awry, but a chance encounter with an old friend (Jeff Goldblum) opens up their eyes on love and life.

“Le Week-end” shows Saturday and June 18 at 8 p.m.

Three family movies have been added to the summer schedule. “Muppets Most Wanted” (June 21 and June 22), “Rio 2” (July 26 and July 27) and “The Lego Movie” (Aug. 16 and Aug. 17) will all have daytime matinees.

All of the Saturday showings are at 10 a.m. and will be Sensory Friendly screenings – sound turned down, lights up higher – for patrons on the autism spectrum, with Aspberger Syndrome or sensitivity issues.

Sensory Friendly screenings are sponsored by Kiwanis of Jamestown and supported by The Resource Center. Sunday showings are at 2 p.m. All are open to the general public.

All movies at the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts series are $5 a seat. Five and 10 admission passes are for sale for people who want to skip the box office lines.
