Christmas in the Park Saturday in Silver Creek

SILVER CREEK — Santa and Mrs. Claus are taking time from their busy holiday schedule to come to Silver Creek on Saturday, December 2nd from noon to 3 p.m. Children will have an opportunity to visit with Santa next to the warm cozy fireplace inside The Backline lobby, located on the Village Square in downtown Silver Creek.

Each child will have a chance to sit with Santa and Mrs. Claus and tell them what they are wishing for this Christmas. Every child will also receive a goody bag and a candy cane. Bring your camera to get a photo of jolly old Santa and one of his real reindeer.

The community is invited to share in the holiday cheer. This free event also features face-painting and custom Christmas In The Park T-shirt decorating. T-shirts are being provided by Stitchez Unlimited and will be free to the first 200 children. There will also be a hot chocolate and bake sale sponsored by the Silver Creek Cross Country Booster Club with all proceeds being donated to the local Food Pantry. The community is welcome to drop off canned goods and non-perishable items during Christmas In The Park as well.

The Kiwanis Club of Silver Creek is the sponsor of this annual event with the assistance of area businesses and organizations such as Stitchez Unlimited, Silver Creek Fireman’s Association, Masonic Silver Lodge and Park Place Real Estate. For more information contact Kiwanis member Matt Bogosian at 672-9181.
