The Gowanda Central School District has announced its top two members of the Class of 2019.

Valedictorian Samantha Kinnaird is ranked No. 1 in the Class of 2019 at Gowanda High School. Throughout her high school career, she was in the National Honor Society and was an AP Art student. She plans to study nursing at the University at Buffalo. Samantha is the daughter of Barbara Kinnaird and Margaret Oleksa.

Salutatorian Kasie Salzman is ranked No. 2 in the Class of 2019 at Gowanda High School. Throughout her high school career, she played softball, managed the cross country team and enjoyed being in the play and musical. She plans to attend the Honors College at The State University of New York at Brockport to study biology. Kasie is the daughter of Jamie Watkins and Kevin Salzman.

Class of 2019 officers: President Ryan Gernatt, Vice President Adam Sisti, Treasurer Caitlin Samargian and Secretary Damen MacLeod.
