Collins Center Seniors gives update

COLLINS — The Collins Center Seniors doesn’t expect to have meetings until the restrictions for the number of people allowed to attend is changed.

Center officials sent vouchers out in April for St. Patrick’s Day Show and Cartwright’s Maple Inn. Members are asked to return the vouchers so the center can send refund checks.

“Memories” a tribute to Barbara Streisand at the Riviera Theatre has been postponed to Dec. 4 and seats are available.

The Collins Center Seniors are again sending Letters to Santa in care of Macy’s department store. Macy’s donates money to the Make A Wish Foundation for every letter deposited in its special Santa mailboxes. In eight years, the Collins Center Seniors have collected more than 80,000 letters for Santa which generated $146,424 to the Make A Wish Foundation. The money donated in Western New York stays in Western New York. The Collins Center Seniors will furnish the paper for the letters and deliver them to Macy’s. For more information contact Linda at 532-9547 or Irene at 532-4268 or Bridget at 532-9586.
