WESTFIELD — Changes have been announced by the Westfield Quilt Guild. The guild will now meet at the Westfield YWCA on the second Saturday of the month — except for December, weather-permitting. Join us at 9:30 a.m. for coffee and visitation, then stay for our monthly meeting at 10 a.m. If you’d like to have even more fun, bring a lunch and plan to stay the afternoon for open sew. This month we’re going to learn a new technique from one of our members. Our meeting room is spacious to allow for social distancing, and masks must be worn.

The Westfield Quilt Guild works throughout the year on comfort quilts that are distributed to various local groups each November. This year, the group is donating pillowcases, shawls, hats, and over 100 quilts to those groups and you are welcome to come join us and be part of this rewarding endeavor.

The next gathering will be at the Y on Saturday, Nov. 14.
