Forestville participating in BLOOM 2021

FORESTVILLE — Imagine Forestville and the Fredonia Garden Club are working together to bring BLOOM 2021, a Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation event, to the residents of Forestville.

This is the foundation’s second annual BLOOM Event geared to promote front yard gardening for the beauty of area communities.

“How truly wonderful that NCCF has decided to bring back BLOOM 2021 to assist communities with this challenging, rewarding and FUN way to help make communities beautiful,” said Aimee Rogers of Imagine Forestville. “Imagine Forestville and Fredonia Garden Club are so happy to have been accepted into this very community-minded event!”

Those who olive in Forestville don’t have to do anything other than prepare their garden and yard. Those who live outside of the hamlet but still live in Forestville can contact Aimee Rogers at 965-4321 or Carol McEntarfer at 965-4262 to sign up. Between June 5 and June 26, representatives from Imagine Forestville and the Fredonia Garden Club will canvass the Forestville community and decide which front yard has the most BLOOMING curb appeal.

The committee will look at flowers, shrubbery, yard tidiness, trimming, decorations and uniqueness. Committee members said they hope to see yards that will inspire others to create a more beautiful, vibrant Forestville. Residents’ gardens that are chosen will receive a BLOOM garden recognition sign and a chance to win other gifts.
