The New York State Women Inc. Chadwick Bay Chapter donated sweatshirts, blankets, socks, snacks, and toiletries to make Christmas a little nicer for the disadvantaged young adults in our area.

The upcoming event of visiting the residents at the WCA Home in February for an ice cream social has been canceled since the home is closing. As a reminder, please look for our scholarship application on the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation’s website in late January.

The next meeting will be Feb. 21 in the home of Donaldly Hover. The group will select our scholarship committee to review the applications. NYS Women Inc. connects and builds women personally, professionally, and politically. We empower women to use their voices to create positive change.

The NY Grace LeGendre Endowment Fund, Inc. awards Fellowships to NYS women who are candidates for masters or doctoral degrees at colleges and universities throughout NYS. A total of $6,500 in Fellowships will be awarded in 2023. For more information please go to info@gracelegendre.org.
