Westfield Police

The Westfield Police and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department were called Wednesday to an alleged domestic dispute on Locust Drive. Upon arrival around 7 a.m., officers could see extensive damage to a car. After a short investigation it was alleged Brenda L. Horr, 33, of Westfield, damaged her husband’s vehicle by smashing the hood and roof with a rock, scratching the sides and jumping on the roof. Horr was located a short time later and was taken into custody on the charge of third-degree criminal mischief. She was arraigned in the Westfield Town Court and was sent to the Chautauqua County Jail on $1,000 cash and $2,000 property bail. She will appear back in court at a later date.

Sergio L. Dros, 22, of Rochester, was charged Wednesday on a warrant for petit larceny from the Westfield Village Court. Officers observed a suspicious male on Market and Clinton Streets around 2 a.m., when it was found Dros had the active warrant. He was arraigned in the Westfield Village Court and was sent to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.

Michael P. Ohara, 38, of Lakeview, was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher and covered/dirty/unreadable license plate after a traffic stop in the town of Pomfret. Deputies allegedly observed Ohara around 1:30 a.m. swerving while traveling on Berry Road and had plastic covering his license plate. He was allegedly found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody. He was released with tickets to appear in the Pomfret Town Court at a later date.
