Erie County Sheriff’s arrest three on drug charges

BRANT – Three men were charged following an investigation by the Erie County Sheriff’s Office.

The narcotics unit received information three men were allegedly selling and possessing large quantities of marijuana.

William Elliott, 42, of West Seneca was charged with criminal possession of marijuana after allegedly having more than 16 ounces of marijuana.

Van M. Miller, 53, of Brant was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and Jeremy Kennedy of Brant was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Kennedy and Miller were released on appearance tickets and Elliot was taken to the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment in Brant Town Court.

Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office

RANDOLPH – Timothy L. Howard, 50, of Jamestown was charged on a bench warrant Saturday.

At 7:10 p.m., he was arrested on the bench warrant out of the city of Olean on a failure to signal charge.

He was turned over to the Olean Police Department without incident.

GOWANDA – Kaylene M. Hellriegel, 29, of Markham Road was charged with issuing a bad check on an arrest warrant on Sunday.

It is alleged Hellriegel issued a bad check previously to a South Dayton business. She was taken into custody and arraigned in Persia Town Court.

She is to appear in South Dayton Village Court at a later date.
