A stationary road check held by New York State Police on Route 60 in the town of Dunkirk on Friday led to several charges.

David Boland, 39, of Forestville, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. He was released with an appearance ticket for Dunkirk Town Court.

Jason E. Kricheldorf, 23, of Dunkirk, was charged with driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was processed at the Fredonia Barracks and released to a sober individual with appearance tickets for Dunkirk Town Court.

Clint Billings, 38, of Orchard Park, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana. He was processed at the Fredonia barracks and released to a sober individual with appearance tickets for the Dunkirk Town Court.

Teen charged with DWI after accident

DAYTON – A Tonawanda teen was charged with driving while intoxicated following a property damage accident on Route 62.

According to State Police, troopers were called to the accident Friday around 7 a.m. Sara Huey, 19, allegedly drove off the road and slid into a ditch, striking a tree. Huey and her two passengers were not hurt.

Troopers reported finding Huey intoxicated while interviewing her and were told they were attempting to drive from Tonawanda to Buffalo, but got lost following Huey’s GPS.

Huey was processed at the Collins Barracks, where Huey allegedly provided a .18 percent blood alcohol content. She will appear in Dayton Town Court at a later date.

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office

SILVER CREEK – David Summerton, 53, of Silver Creek was charged with fourth-degree stalking on Friday.

According to a press release, it is alleged that Summerton has engaged in a course of conduct that spans over a six-week period in which he arrived at the workplace of a female victim numerous times, even after he was advised to refrain from contacting her.

Summerton was issued an appearance ticket for Silver Creek Village Court.

PORTLAND – Melissa Bridges, 45, of Westfield was charged with petit larceny on an active bench warrant on Saturday.

Around 12:15 a.m., deputies responded to 7620 Felton Road to assist EMS personnel with a medical emergency. While on location, it was determined that Bridges, who was at the residence at the time of the 911 call, had an active bench warrant for failure to pay a fine on the petit larceny charge.

Bridges was taken into custody and arraigned in Chautauqua Town Court. She was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.

Fredonia Police Department

Colin Kilpatrick, 21, of Binghamton was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated with more than .18 percent for a blood alcohol content, two counts of disobeying a stop sign, failure to keep right and no turn signal on Oct. 18.

Nichole Barber, 27, of Robin Street, Dunkirk, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, speed in zone and failure to stop at a stop sign on Oct. 18.
