¯ At approximately 2:45 a.m. on Sunday, deputies pulled over a vehicle for an alleged traffic violation on Van Buren Road in Pomfret.

Deputies determined that the driver, Daniel A. Gornikiewicz, 35, of Dunkirk was intoxicated. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and failure to keep right.

Gornikiewicz is scheduled to appear in Pomfret Town Court at a later date.

¯ CHAUTAUQUA — Deputies pulled over a vehicle Saturday at approximately 2:30 a.m. for an alleged traffic violation on Morris Road.

Deputies determined that the driver, Michael L. Krause, was intoxicated and charged him with aggravated driving while intoxicated, DWI and failure to keep right.

Krause is scheduled to answer his charges in Chautauqua Town Court at a later date.

¯ On July 14, deputies had responded to a residence in Pomfret for a reported larceny. After investigation, it was determined that Ellis Renfroe, 38, of Fredonia, had taken property that did not belong to him from the residence.

Renfroe was issued an appearance ticket for petit larceny on Friday and is to answer to this charge at Pomfret Town Court at a later date.

¯ CHARLOTTE — At approximately 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, deputies pulled over a vehicle on Rood Road for speeding.

While writing up the ticket, deputies found the driver, George E. Harmony III, 54, of Sinclairville, to be in an intoxicated state.

He was charged with speed over 55 mph zone, driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated.

Harmony will answer to the charges on a later date at Charlotte Town Court.
