¯ DAYTON — Lily Marsh, 21, of Perrysburg, was charged Wednesday with unlawful possession of marijuana. Troopers out of State Police barracks in Jamestown pulled over Marsh on Cottage Road in Dayton for an alleged traffic violation. While speaking to Marsh, troopers said they smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A search of Marsh and her car allegedly revealed a bag containing 22 grams of marijuana. Marsh was issued an appearance ticket for Dayton Town Court next month.

¯ SHERIDAN — Nicholas Bomasuto, 23, of Dunkirk, was charged Thursday with unlawful possession of marijuana. State Police say a vehicle that Bomasuto was riding in was pulled over on Route 5 in Sheridan for an alleged traffic violation. While speaking to the occupants, troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A search of the car and its occupants revealed that Bomasuto was in possession of a bag containing five grams of marijuana. The driver was issued a traffic ticket and Bomasuto was issued an appearance ticket for Sheridan Town Court at a later date.
