ELLINGTON — On Saturday, New York State troopers arrested Nickolas Pfleuger, 27, of Collins, for third degree aggravated unlicensed operation and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Pfleuger was pulled over on Waterboro Hill Road in Ellington for traffic violations. While speaking to Plfeuger, the troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A search of Pfleuger and his vehicle revealed a bag containing marijuana and a smoking device containing marijuana residue. Pfleuger’s driver’s license was also suspended.

Pfleuger was issued an appearance ticket and traffic tickets and was removed from the scene by a third party. Plfeuger is scheduled to appear in the town of Ellington Court later in the month to answer the charges.

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office

WESTFIELD — On Friday at approximately 12:57 p.m., Westfield Police along with Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies received a call about an erratic driver on Route 20. Officers and deputies executed a stop of the suspect vehicle on Route 20 in the village of Westfield after officers observed it moving from its lane unsafely.

Kristen N. Tefft, 31, of Ripley was found to be the operator of suspect vehicle. Further investigation found her ability to operate a motor vehicle to be impaired by drugs. Tefft was arrested for driving while ability impaired by drugs and released with appearance tickets to appear in the village of Westfield court at a later date.
