ELLERY — On Thursday at 5:10 p.m., Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Route 380 in the town of Ellery. The operator of the vehicle was identified at Robert Keech, 23, of Stockton. Upon an investigation, deputies said it was determined that Keech was operating the vehicle under the influence of drugs. Subsequent investigation revealed that Keech was allegedly found to be in possession of multiple hypodermic instruments.

Keech was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to keep right and unsafe tire. Keech was taken into custody on the charges and was released to appear in the town of Ellery court to answer the charges.

Dunkirk Police Department

¯ On Nov. 16, Evelyn C. Ruiz, 27, of Fredonia was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

¯ On Sunday Tyler M. Donovan, 23, of Dunkirk was charged with petit larceny and resisting arrest.

¯ On Sunday Franki Ramos, 25, of Dunkirk was charged with first-degree contempt.

¯ On Tuesday Shannon M. Roche, 33, of Dunkirk was charged with petit larceny and possession of a forged instrument.

≤ JAMESTOWN — On Nov. 17, Troopers responded to a report of a rolling domestic incident where the perpetrator Sherell Tanner, 47, of Buffalo was allegedly driving south on Route 60 while drinking and being verbally abusive to the caller. Tanner was located on Route 60 in the city of Jamestown and pulled over. After reportedly failing several standard field sobriety tests and providing a breath sample of .13 she was charged with driving while intoxicated. Tanner was released and is due to appear in Ellicott Town Court later in the month.

¯ KENNEDY — On Tuesday, while assisting Chautauqua County Child Protective Services on a welfare check of an infant, troopers allegedly observed two grams of marijuana, a bag containing methamphetamine and a straw with residue in the livingroom. Police charged Austin Muntz, 22, of Kennedy with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. Troopers said he was not impaired at the time. He was released and is due to appear in Poland town court at a later date.
