Silver Creek man charged in stabbing

SILVER CREEK — A Silver Creek man has been charged with first-degree assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon after a report of a stabbing in the village of Silver Creek Monday night.

Chautauqua County Sheriff deputies say an investigation led to charges being placed against 53-year-old Kelly Larosa. He allegedly assaulted a victim with a knife causing serious injury.

Larosa was arrested at his home in Silver Creek and arraigned on the charges in Silver Creek Village Court. Larosa was then sent to the Chautauqua County Jail without bail.

Fredonia Police

¯ Larry Casey III, 28, of Forestville was charged Dec. 19 with petit larceny and unlawful possesion of marijuana.

¯ Kiary Delrosario, 20, of Fredonia was charged Dec. 21 with a noise complaint violation.

¯ Juan Quinones, 38, of Fredonia was charged Dec. 22 with petit larceny.

Westfield Police

¯ On Dec. 20 at roughly 4:13 p.m., Westfield Police performed a traffic stop on a vehicle that was observed to have an expired 2017 inspection sticker. During the traffic stop, further investigation alleged that the driver, Daniel W. Weaver, 60, of Mayville did not have a New York State Driver’s License. Weaver’s license was also allegedly suspended. He was issued traffic tickets for second-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, unlicensed operator, uninspected motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
