≤ NORTH HARMONY — On March 9 at roughly 8:30 p.m., deputies received a report of a vehicle leaving the scene of a property damage accident in Busti. Deputies located the vehicle on Route 394 in the town of North Harmony. The operator, Johnny A. Stein, 40, of Jamestown, was allegedly found to be intoxicated. Stein was taken into custody and charged with DWI, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

≤ BUSTI — On March 10 at about 11:54 p.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on West Fairmount Avenue for speeding and passing a vehicle in a no passing zone. The operator was identified as Cassandra M. Seeley, 40, of Celoron, and was allegedly found to be intoxicated. Seeley was taken into custody and charged with DWI, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater, speed in zone and driving to left of pavement markings.

≤ FRENCH CREEK — On March 15 at around 10:14 p.m., deputies were called to check a suspicious situation on Conway Road. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with James R. Fores, 45, of Pittsfield, Pa., and allegedly found him to have been operating his vehicle while intoxicated. Fores was taken into custody and charged with DWI and DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater.

≤ KENNEDY — On March 17, troopers responded to a residence for a report of a domestic disturbance. Investigation revealed that during an argument, Austin Muntz, 22, of Kennedy, allegedly pinned the victim to a bed with his hands around her neck, making it difficult for her to breathe, and broke her phone when she attempted to call 911. The incident occurred in close proximity to a five-month-old child. Muntz was placed under arrest and charged with two counts of second-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, second-degree criminal contempt, fourth-degree criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree menacing. Muntz was processed at State Police Jamestown and transported to Chautauqua County Jail. The victim was treated at UPMC Hospital in Jamestown for minor injuries.

≤ RANDOLPH — On March 15, troopers received a report of a possible intoxicated driver in the Randolph area, and pulled over the suspected vehicle for allegedly driving 80 mph in a 30 mph zone on Cold Spring Road. The driver, James Olson, 34, of Randolph, was placed under arrest after failing several SFSTs, and transported to State Police Jamestown, where he provided a breath sample of .17. Olson was charged with DWI, processed, issued tickets and released. Olson is scheduled to appear in the town of Randolph Court on a later date.

≤ JAMESTOWN — On March 14, troopers pulled over a vehicle on Route 430 for an alleged traffic violation. While speaking to the operator, Radames Torres Melendez, 26, of Jamestown, troopers reportedly smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A search of Torres Melendez and the vehicle revealed two electronic smoking devices containing concentrated marijuana oil. Torres Melendez was placed under arrest and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Torres Melendez was transported to State Police Jamestown and processed, then issued an appearance ticket and a traffic ticket and is scheduled to appear in the town of Ellicott Court next month.

Fredonia Police Department

¯ Kemari Wright, 20, of Mount Vernon, was charged March 8 with petit larceny.

¯ Oscar Rodriguez Vazquez, no age listed, of Dunkirk was charged March 10 with driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated.
