¯ MAYVILLE — On Tuesday, deputies were called to a location in the village of Mayville for report of a subject in possession of a illegal weapon.

Upon further investigation deputies reported that Randall K. Mesler Jr., 19, of Jamestown, was in possession of an illegal electronic stun gun. Mesler Jr. was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

He is being held pending arraignment.

≤ MINA — On Wednesday at about 11 p.m., deputies responded to a vehicle crash on Route 426.

Deputies identified the driver as James V. Sandford, 58, of Jamestown. Following an investigation into the incident, Sandford was arrested and charged with DWI, speed not reasonable, and move from lane unsafely.

While Sandford was being processed at the Sheriff’s Office in Mayville, he reportedly became disorderly and damaged property. He was additionally charged with third-degree criminal mischief.

He was taken to the county jail, where he will answer to his charges during centralized arraignment.

¯ On March 22, Stephanie P. Soule, 35, of Dunkirk was charged with petit larceny.

¯ On March 23, Nelson Catala, 42, of Dunkirk was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, possession of a defaced weapon and two counts of second-degree menacing. On March 25 he was also charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

¯ On March 23, Aixmary Rodriguez-Rosa, 35, of Dunkirk was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and possession of a defaced weapon.

¯ On March 23, Limarys Carmona, 41, of Dunkirk was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and possession of a defaced weapon.

¯ On March 23, Christian Padilla-Rivera, 29, of Dunkirk was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and possession of a defaced weapon.

¯ On March 24, Samantha J. Coleman, 30, of Fredonia was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and failure to signal.

¯ On March 25, Timothy Alexander, 26, of Buffalo was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and criminal obstruction of breathing.

¯ On Tuesday, Jason E. Selig, 49, of Brocton was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and inadequate exhaust.

¯ On Tuesday, Kimberly A. Tolbert, 41, of Dunkirk was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, suspended registration and no insurance.

¯ On Tuesday, Jorge Negron-Velazquez, 35, of Dunkirk was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

¯ On Tuesday, Juan L. Resto Jr., 33, of Dunkirk was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief.

¯ On Wednesday, Justin Schrieier, 25, of Dunkirk was charged with third-degree burglary.

¯ On Wednesday, Justin M. Palmer, 31, of Dunkirk was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, speeding in zone and no insurance.

¯ On Thursday, Matthew P. Miles, 25, of Dunkirk was charged with petit larceny.
