≤ RANDOLPH — On May 30, troopers responded to assist Cattaraugus County Sheriff Units with a neighborhood disturbance on Main Street. During the investigation, James Wall, 38, of Randolph, was allegedly found to be in possession of a pipe containing methamphetamine residue. Wall was placed under arrest and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Wall was transported to State Police Jamestown and processed. Wall was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in town of Randolph Court on a later date.

≤ FREWSBURG — On June 2, troopers responded to Main Street for a report of an erratic driver. The driver, later identified as Lynda Johnson, 70, of South Valley, was allegedly placed under arrest and charged with aggravated DWI. Johnson was transported to State Police Jamestown, where she provided a breath sample of .25. Johnson was then processed, issued traffic tickets and released. Johnson is scheduled to appear in the town of Carroll Court at a later date.

≤ RANDOLPH — On May 28, troopers responded to a residence for a report of a domestic dispute. During the investigation, Brett Stearns, 45, of Randolph, was allegedly found to be in possession of a rifle, which he was prohibited from possessing per his felony conviction. Stearns was placed under arrest and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Stearns was transported to State Police Jamestown and processed. Stearns was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in town of Randolph Court at a later date.

≤ JAMESTOWN — On May 30, troopers responded to Kwik Fill on Route 60 for a report of suspicious males, which they located in their vehicle. While speaking to the occupants, troopers allegedly observed a marijuana pipe in plain sight inside the vehicle. The driver, Brandon Shirley, 32, of Ocoee, Florida, admitted ownership of the pipe and was placed under arrest. Shirley was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the town of Ellicott Court on a later date.

≤ KENNEDY — On May 31, troopers responded to Ericsson Road for a report of a vehicle off the road. Upon arrival, troopers observed a vehicle in the ditch and Jason Tober, 44, of Olean, in the driver’s seat. Tober was placed under arrest after allegedly failing several sobriety tests and charged with DWI. Tober was transported to State Police Jamestown, where he provided a breath sample of .09. Tober was then processed, issued tickets returnable to the town of Poland Court and released. Tober is scheduled to appear in the town of Poland Court on a later date.
