¯ RANDOLPH — On July 2, troopers pulled over a vehicle on Main Street for a cell phone violation. While speaking to the driver, Hannah Taylor, 20, of Cattaraugus, troopers allegedly smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A search of Taylor and her vehicle revealed a bag of marijuana and two smoking devices containing marijuana residue. Taylor was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and issued an appearance ticket and a traffic ticket. Taylor is scheduled to appear in town of Randolph Court later in the month.

¯ COLD SPRING — On July 6, troopers pulled over a vehicle for speeding on Lebanon Road. While speaking to the driver, Neal Parmenter, 29, of Randolph, troopers allegedly smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed a container with marijuana vegetation and a smoking device containing marijuana residue. Parmenter’s driving record also reportedly revealed an active suspension. Parmenter was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. He was issued traffic tickets and an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Town of Cold Spring Court later in the month.

¯ CARROLL — On July 7, Amy Schulz, 51, of Warren, Pa., allegedly appeared at a residence and refused to depart after multiple requests from the complainant and her family members. Schulz was located by troopers in the backyard and placed under arrest. Schulz was removed from the scene and charged with trespass. Schulz was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Town of Carroll Court later in the month.

¯ STOCKTON — Deputies responded to a one vehicle rollover accident on Barnes Road around 7 p.m. Saturday. Upon arrival, the vehicle was found unoccupied. A short time later, the alleged driver, Jordan W. Hebner, 20, of Westfield, was located not far from the scene by deputies.

Further investigation led to Hebner’s arrest for DWI, DWI per se and other vehicle and traffic violations. Hebner will answer to the charges in town of Stockton Court at a later date.

¯ PORTLAND — On July 6 at around 10:20 p.m., deputies made contact with a vehicle parked on the shoulder of Route 5. The operator was identified as Ricky Atkinson, 55, of Erie, Pa. Further investigation found that Atkinson was allegedly intoxicated while operating his vehicle. Atkinson was arrested and charged with DWI, DWI per se and parked on pavement. Atkinson was processed and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
