¯ JAMESTOWN — Louann Vincent, 66, of Jamestown, was charged with two counts of fourth-degree welfare fraud, first-degree offering a false instrument for filing, misuse of food stamps totaling more than $1,000 and fourth-degree grand larceny July 16. It is alleged that from Sept. 1, 2016 through Oct. 15, 2017, Vincent failed to notify the Chautauqua County Department of Health and Human Services that she was receiving Social Security income. This unreported income allowed for Vincent to receive $2,686.50 in unentitled benefits. Vincent is scheduled to appear in city of Jamestown Court at a later date.

¯ LITTLE VALLEY — James Gleason, 34, of Little Valley, was arrested and charged with fourth-degree welfare fraud, first-degree offering a false instrument for filing, misuse of food stamps (+$1,000) and fourth-degree grand larceny. It is alleged that from July 1, 2015 through October 31, 2015, Gleason failed to notify the Chautauqua County Department of Health and Human Services that he was employed at Maplevale Farms Inc. and receiving income July 18. This unreported income allowed for Gleason to receive $1,412 in unentitled benefits. Gleason is scheduled to appear in city of Jamestown Court at a later date.

RANDOLPH — On July 19, troopers pulled over a vehicle on Main Street for a traffic violation. While speaking to the driver, Robert Campbell, 24, of Falconer, troopers allegedly smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A search of Campbell and his vehicle revealed a smoking device containing marijuana. Campbell was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and was issued appearance tickets. Campbell is scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court at a later date.
