Westfield Police Department

¯ Sara E. Campbell, 21, of Westfield was charged with petit larceny Oct. 25 after police responded to Dollar Tree that morning for an alleged larceny complaint. She was issued an appearance ticket and will answer to the charge in village court at a later date.

¯ Aaron M. Walters, 39, of Brocton was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving with .08% or more of 1% of alcohol and no/inadequate tail lamps after an Oct. 25 traffic stop on Route 20. Walters was released with traffic tickets and will appear in village court at a later date.

¯ Dennis W. Deck, 52, of Westfield was charged Oct. 26 with trespassing, fourth degree criminal mischief and petit larceny. An Oct. 1 report alleges Deck entered village property on Ogden Road in the town of Westfield and cut firewood for personal use. Additionally, he allegedly damaged the property’s access road with his tractor. Deck will appear in Town of Westfield court at a later date to answer the charges.

≤ On Oct. 19, troopers out of the Jamestown barracks arrested Spencer Kruize, 20, of Erie, Pa., for second degree unlawful possession of marijuana. Troopers pulled over a vehicle for speeding on Clymer-Corry Road in Clymer and while speaking to the occupants, the troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle and its occupants revealed that Kruize, a passenger, was in possession of a bag containing marijuana, and also a grinder and a smoking device, both containing marijuana residue. The driver was issued a traffic ticket and Kruize was issued an appearance ticket. Kruize is scheduled to appear in the town of Clymer Court next month to answer the charge.

≤ On Oct. 22, troopers out of the Jamestown barracks arrested Ryan McWilliams, 26, of Jamestown, for second degree unlawful possession of marijuana. McWilliams was pulled over on Route 394 in Ellicott for not wearing his seatbelt. While speaking to him, the troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A search of McWilliams and his vehicle revealed a bag containing marijuana. He was issued an appearance ticket and a traffic ticket and is scheduled to appear in the town of Ellicott Court next month.
