Cattaraugus County Court

Corie Royce, 38, of Gowanda, was sentenced to a one year conditional discharge for her conviction to attempted tampering with physical evidence, a Class A misdemeanor. The incident occurred on or about May 18, 2019, in the town of Napoli, when the defendant intended to suppress evidence for an official proceeding.

¯ RANDOLPH — On March 6 Troopers out of Jamestown charged Jason Muntz, 48, of Randolph, on charges of driving while intoxicated.

The Troopers responded to the Randolph area for a report of a recklessly driving vehicle that had just exited I-86. Troopers located the vehicle on Cemetery Street and placed Muntz under arrest after he failed several field sobriety tests.

Muntz was transported to SP Jamestown where he allegedly refused to provide a breath sample. Muntz was then arraigned in the town of Napoli Court and released on his own recognizance, to appear in the town of Randolph Court on a later date.

¯ STOW — On March 8 Troopers out of Jamestown arrested Todd Adams, 47, of Frewsburg, on charges of felony driving while intoxicated and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

Troopers pulled over a motorcycle on I-86 in Stow for speeding and placed Adams under arrest after he failed several field sobriety tests. Adams was transported to State Police in Jamestown where he refused to provide a breath sample. A check of Adams’ driving record revealed that his driving privileges in New York had been revoked for an alcohol related conviction. Adams was then processed and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail.

¯ STEAMBURG — On March 13, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Andrew Bonnell of Russell, Pa., for driving while intoxicated and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

Bonnell was pulled over for speeding on West Perimeter Road in Steamburg and after failing several SFSTs, Bonnell was placed under arrest. Bonnell was transported to SP Jamestown where he provided a breath sample of .13. Bonnell was additionally charged with AUO 1st Degree when a check of his driving record revealed that his driving privileges had been revoked for an alcohol related conviction. Bonnell was then processed, issued tickets and released. Bonnell is scheduled to appear in the town of South Valley Court next month.

Dunkirk Police Department

¯ On March 6, Beatriz M. Santos, 25 was charged with suspended registration, switched plates and no insurance.

¯ On March 8, William Jackson Jr., 32, of Dunkirk was charged with criminal mischief and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

¯ On March 9, Jonathan A. Herdzik, 35, of Dunkirk was charged with attempted petit larceny and third-degree possession of a forged instrument.

¯ On March 11, Shawn P. Clutter, 32, of Dunkirk was charged with criminal mischief and criminal obstruction of breathing.
