State Police at Jamestown

HARMONY — An Ashville woman has been charged with driving while intoxicated.

According to state police, troopers responded to the Ashville area to check the welfare of a female driver that was reported to be acting erratically Tuesday. Troopers located the vehicle on Blockville-Watts Flats road and placed Courtney Thomas, 21, under arrest after she allegedly failed several field sobriety tests.

She was transported to State Police in Jamestown where she allegedly provided a breath sample of .12. Thomas was then processed, issued tickets and released. She is scheduled to appear in the town of Harmony Court on a later date.
