Arrest made in Ripley burglaries

RIPLEY — The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division and Road patrol have been investigating several burglaries in the Ripley area for the past several months.

As a result of the investigation Tyler Milliron, 24, of 110 W. Main St., Ripley was arrested on Wednesday and issued appearance tickets for one count of second-degree burglary, four counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, and one count of petit larceny.

He is to appear in Ripley court at a later date.

SOUTH VALLEY — A Jamestown woman was arrested Monday after allegedly stealing a truck.

Troopers out of SP Jamestown charged Amanda Cuthbert, 31, with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property

The troopers received a report of a pickup truck stolen from the town of Ellicott and located the truck in question at the Gurnsey Hollow Cemetery in South Valley. Cuthbert was observed fleeing from the truck and was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit. She was transported to the Cattaraugus County Jail for arraignment and was released on her own recognizance, to appear in the town of South Valley Court on a later date.

The truck was returned to the owner.
