¯ HANOVER — Michael B. Kleckner, 35, of Silver Creek, was taken into custody on a warrant for two counts of first-degree criminal contempt and second-degree burglary.
Deputies conducted a warrant check Tuesday for Kleckner on Angell Road in the town of Hanover. Kleckner allegedly attempted to evade arrest by running from a secondary location on Angell Road. After a brief search conducted by Sheriff’s K-9’s and road patrol, a deputy located Kleckner hiding in a grape vineyard.
He was brought to the Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment.
¯ CHAUTAUQUA — Joseph N. Kaye, 68, of Mayville, was charged with second-degree menacing.
Deputies responded Monday at 5:49 p.m. to a reported altercation in the town of Chautauqua. Deputies were advised that Kaye allegedly pointed a loaded handgun at another person. Kaye was located near his residence and taken into custody.
He was released with tickets to appear in Chautauqua Town Court later.
¯ ELLERY — Gary L Hannold III, 20, of Ellery, was taken into custody on warrant for a charge of endangering the welfare of a child.
Deputies conducted a warrant check Monday at 5:30 p.m. at a residence on Ellery-Centralia Road in the town of Ellery.
Hannold was wanted out of Chautauqua Town Court, and he was turned over to the Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment.
