¯ Joshua C. Lee, 29, of Fredonia, was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI and moving from lane unsafely.
Deputies observed on Tuesday at 1:37 a.m. a vehicle that appeared to have been involved in a crash. The vehicle was in the middle of a gape vineyard on Christy Road. An investigation found that Lee was intoxicated. He was released with tickets to appear later in Pomfret Town Court. No injuries were reported.
¯ WESTFIELD — Michelle A. Balch, 33, of Westfield, was taken into custody Friday at 11:59 a.m. after being wanted out of Fredonia Village Court on a charge of second-degree assault.
She was turned over to the Chautauqua County Jail.

¯ SHERMAN — Trevor Hayes, 37, of Sherman, was charged with driving while intoxicated.
Troopers stopped a vehicle Thursday for a traffic violation at Church and Main streets in Sherman. Hayes was taken into custody after reportedly failing several field sobriety tests.
He later provided a breath sample of 0.16% and was issued tickets to appear in Sherman Town Court later.

¯ On May 15, Aurelio M. Lopez, 34, of Dunkirk was charged with obstruction of government administration and disorderly conduct.
¯ On May 16, Glen J. Hurrell Jr., 31, of Dunkirk was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
¯ On May 17, Samantha J. Coleman, 31, of Fredonia was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument.
¯ On May 17, Jordan J. Warrick, 33, of Dunkirk was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument.
¯ On May 17, an unnamed minor of Dunkirk was charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
¯ On May 19, Tyler T. Dalton, 20, of Falconer was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
¯ On May 19, Diana G. Rodriguez, 43, of Dunkirk was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
¯ On May 21, David C. Smith, 21, of Dunkirk was charged with third-degree assault.
¯ On May 21, Joseph P. Szach, of Dunkirk was charged with uninspected motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle, unregistered motor vehicle and improper plates.
¯ On May 22, J. Gonzalez-Torres, 25, of Fredonia was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and inadequate headlights.
