CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ CHAUTAUQUA — Jamie J. Ratzlaff, 55, of Sherman, was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Deputies responded at 3:40 p.m. June 35 to a larceny complaint on Plank Road in Chautauqua. Deputies spoke with a victim who reported their cell phone stolen. The suspect was identified as Ratzlaff. The phone was recovered and returned to its owner, and Ratzlaff is scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Town Court later.

¯ HANOVER — Sylvia S. Springer, 25, of Buffalo, was charged with failure to stop at a stop sign, aggravated unlicensed operation and driving while intoxicated. Deputies at 1:51 a.m. Saturday observed a southbound vehicle on Iola Drive commit a vehicle and traffic violation. An investigation found that Springer was reportedly intoxicated. She is scheduled to appear in Hanover Town Court later.

¯ CHAUTAUQUA — Drew A. Yanell, 27, of Fort Collins, Co., was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and speed in zone. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 2:17 a.m. Saturday on Route 394 in Chautauqua. An investigation found that Yanell was allegedly intoxicated. He is scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Town Court later.

¯ HANOVER — Nathan D. Jones, 24, of Springville, was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to stop at a stop sign and refusal to take a breath test. Deputies stopped at 2:36 a.m. Saturday in Hanover for an alleged traffic violation. An investigation found that Jones was intoxicated. He was transported to jail and held for arraignment.

¯ HANOVER — Jesse S. Nahrebeski, 26, of Silver Creek, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 8:54 p.m. Friday on Beeb Road in Hanover for a traffic violation. Nahrebeski, a passenger, was allegedly found with a quantity of crack cocaine. He is scheduled to appear in Hanover Town Court later.

¯ HANOVER — Dawn M. Cummings, 52, of Cheektowaga, was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to stop at a stop sign and refusal to take breath test. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 12:48 a.m. Sunday in Hanover for a traffic violation. An investigation found that Cummings was allegedly intoxicated. She was taken to jail for centralized arraignment.

¯ POMFRET — Thomas J Bakowski, 37, of Orchard Park, was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to take a breath test, failure to keep right, move from lane unsafely. Deputies responded at 9:29 p.m. Saturday to a crash on Fredonia Stockton Road in the town of Pomfret. An investigation found that Bakowski was allegedly intoxicated. He was being held at jail awaiting arraignment.
