Multiple people suffered lacerations after a large fight was reported early Saturday.

Officers were alerted to the fight around 2 a.m. at The Wine Cellar, 309 N. Main St. Upon arrival, an officer initiated a foot pursuit with a man later identified as Codie DJ Swartz after being notified by multiple victims that he had stabbed them.

Swartz, no age or address listed, was taken into custody after the brief pursuit.

“Multiple victims suffered lacerations as a result of the incident,” the Jamestown Police Department said in a news release.

Swartz is facing charges of tampering with physical evidence, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and two counts of second-degree assault. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment in court.
