¯ Robert Owens IV, 22, of Jamestown, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense. Patrol was dispatched at 2:30 p.m. Sunday to the east side of the city and learned that a male, later identified as Owens, was allegedly riding his bicycle past a victim’s residence with whom he has a stay away order of protection. The victim stated that while she was outside her residence, Owens rode by and called her a derogatory name. Owens was transported to jail and held for arraignment in court.

¯ Bracken D. Warren, 24, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree unlawfully fleeing a police officer and reckless driving. Patrol at 11:02 a.m. Sunday observed an unregistered dirt bike with two occupants passing through the intersection of East Second and Winsor streets. Officers subsequently activated their emergency lights and siren as the dirt bike was driving on the wrong side of the road. The driver of the dirt bike, later identified as Warren, led officers on a short pursuit, violating multiple vehicle and traffic laws. The short pursuit ended in the new portion of Lake View Cemetery where Warren and a female passenger abandoned the dirt bike and ran into the woods. Officers located both subjects shortly after. Warren is scheduled to appear in court later.
